Real Estate Marketing Idea - Increase Visibility, Traffic and Keyword Rankings.

Lets say your real estate business is in Alabama and you want to increase your visibility over search engines. Here is what I suggest:

1. Create a blog over keyword rich domain or in your domain (yourdomain.com/blog).
2. Book a keyword rich domain (if possible) or try it on your own website....
3. Start creating categories and tags by name of cities in Alabama. It looks like this:

yourdomain.com/blog/category/abbeville
yourdomain.com/blog/tag/abbeville-property

4. Link this blog with your main website.
5. Keep updating this blog at least one post per city.
6. Try to promote this blog or at least add SEO widgets and plugins in it.

What Happens Next?
Once this blog is indexed well in search engines your website visibility and traffic starts increasing and if domain name is keyword rich your website also starts coming in search engines by keywords.

This is what I thought and it works in most of the cases, let me know your opinions...

Thanks WHB Solutions for supporting this thread. One can do wonders if implement it well, some more promotions is required and it's sure website starts coming in search engines by many key keywords.

Great tips! I actually have blog on Blogger and Wordpress, and Link it my website - instead of linking my website to my blog, will that still work? Which is more better, having a blog on your website or having a blog outside? thanks!

You explained it really well as, for increasing visibility we have to design a web site that is showing more pictures of houses like, pictures should be published in proper manner which should be very expressive, that entice more people. This will increase visibility and targeting keywords that are providing some better info that will be helpful in getting more traffic or leads.
