Default Open House on Mother's Day

I've got a nice house listed @ 199k on a busy area of town.

I'm thinking about hosting an open house here to get some traffic and network with potential buyers.

What do y'all think about doing this from 2-5 on the Sunday of Mother's Day? I figure a lot of people will be out and about both from lunch and before dinner.

Do you think I'd get more than average traffic, or should I wait and do it the following Sunday?

    Thanks!

Open houses are such a funny thing. I can never predict days or times when I will get good or bad traffic. It seems more dependent upon the price of the house than anything.

    Cool

After talking over with everyone at the office, I'm going to move it back to May 16th.

Still would like to hear input on holding open houses over holiday weekends!
