I'm not sure how many of us agents are doing email marketing from rented lists, aside from our own targeted opt-in lists, but you may want to check out InfoUSA's email marketing program.

It's pretty slick because just like with regular mailing lists from them, you can narrow down and target your audience like crazy.

They let you narrow down your list geographically (of course), demographically, length of ownership, renter vs. owner, home value, mortgage info, etc.

Definitely something to look at to expand your marketing arsenal and see if it fits in your budget.

i wanted to know if it is possible or any suggestions on attaining a marketing lists with email address for collegiate students in a certain age range??

Previously, I worked in direct marketing as a database manager. Most of it is done by middlemen, but if you can get the contact info for the person who manages the databases to which you have access, then it could be a much simpler process. If you work through a middleman, they will have information about many databases that could fit your criteria but that comes at a cost (higher prices).

I have never had much luck with email marketing, but then again the list may have been old and outdated. Provided the list is really fresh, you may get so good feedback. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

For "rushdelivery" and "utluxury", I'd just go to Infousa.com and narrow down your criteria that you want.

After you do that, they'll have to sign in or sign up to get pricing. That's their way to reel you in.

But that will give you an idea of the cost and what kind of prospects you can target, such as college students, etc.

I've not had much experience with lists but hitting your target audience is the most important aspect. I'm not a big fan of pushing to people where their interest is unknown.
