    Default Marketing on Twitter

    Recently I have been using Twitter to expand my client base.

    It might not be very effective in terms of making sales, but it creates more of an identity for the company. This is very important especially to clients, the more they get comfortable with you the easier it is for you to sell them something in confidence.

    Yes Twitter is just of the many Social Networking sites that you can use in marketing, social networking/bookmarking sites are very effective sites that can help you advertise and create backlinks for your website. Especially if you have a lot of friends and followers, they will surely get some updates in your business and they can easily communicate and inquire on your real estate business.

    I have also been using Twitter the past month or so. I didnt think I was getting much out of it, but one of my followers contacted me a couple of days ago and is a qualified buyer, so we have a few showings this weekend (all high-end properties). All in all, I will continue to tweet, you just never know how a client will initially find you. Good luck.

    Make sure in using twitter, you target your prospective client, don't spam your followers, make sure you tweets are not spamming type. Interact with your users too. Build relation, it's necessary to build your list.

    Twitter is not a marketing tool; it’s a social tool. That means:
    • Don’t spam
    • Follow other users
    • Be active in the community (comment and post frequently)
    • Post useful information
    • Don’t post every 10 minutes
    • Engage in conversations. Retweet (reply to other tweets) often
    • Don’t promote yourself. Share cool stuff. To give your company exposure, do it the smart way. Direct your followers to a blog post with useful information and have that post invite users to take action. Don’t try to take people from Twitter to your checkout page directly.

    I haven't use this technique for my clients, but having read your comments about Twitter, I might consider it. I think that if I will use it, I will make sure to sound really corporate and professional and at the same time, I will try to build some relations with possible clients in the future. Thanks for this, it is very much appreciated!

    rehabrealestate;
    "Twitter is not a marketing tool; its a social tool"

    great info! when people spam you, you become immune to it and whenever you see them post, you check out mentally.
    thx!

    Twitter is a good social networking site to communicate with other people. People that can be in the same field of business where you can share thoughts and learn from each other. This can also be your means to promote your business services like of Facebook but be sure to post quality micro-blogs. Do socialize and get your business promoted.
