I know form my own experience that it's better to choose the agent who has worked with some of your firends or acquaitances. You have more chances to get a rather good agent.

I agree that it's always a good idea to obtain referrals from people you know. However, be careful. Most of your friends and relatives aren't really experts. Often the agent they refer to you is the best one they've EVER seen...of the one or two they've ever had.

Intake everything, but think for yourself.
