Default Does resale value affect buying decision?

    Hi Everyone,

How much should resale value factor in your decision to BUY an appartment? I am little bit confused between taking advantage of the tax credit this year and the Real Estate market situation, and the fact that I was told by someone the appartment I have my eyes on may not sell easily in a few years when I probably want to sell it (should wait until when I have more money to buy a better and larger appartment. that has better resale value).

    Please suggest..!!!

Resale property cost depends on its status on the time you want to sell it. Buyers wise enough to check if the price stands the quality of the property they tend to invest in. You have to do repairs and make it more attractive to the eyes of potential clients to achieve high resale price of your apartment.

hello...friends..there are lots of factors which affects the future value of a property can't list them all but the biggest factor is the current market situation and the other most important factor is the location of the property if location is continuously developing then prices will never go down might come slight change

Yes it does matter because when you buy something on good rate and when going to sale its cost less than your buying rate so it does effect on your buying decision.

Thumbs up Does resale value affect buying decision?

It doesnt affect if you are not thinking to resale an apartment for 4-5 yrs. It's for sure that after 4-5 yrs resale will be more than you buy....if you just want to use it for couple of years then you need to think hard.... but if you want to use it for 4-5 yrs then choose whatever you like it's going to be plus after these many yrs...
