    Default It depends...

For me, my websites are almost 100% of my marketing platform. But I know several others who are wildly successful with no web presence at all. I've kind of noticed that those who embrace the web and work to make it effective are successful. Those who are scared of it, 50/50 between old schoolers that do it "the hard way" and general technophobes who are afraid to try anything new.

So to answer your question directly. My websites rank #1.

It depends on your website's services offered, but for me...I prefer mine to be SE friendly. Being on top of different SE is an advantage to make great number of site viewers and this viewers could be possible clients. I guess, that's what marketing means. To get potential clients through internet marketing and other techniques to get your business widely marketed.

my website is makes up about 50% of my business. I would like to get it up to 75% one day as it is so much more cost efficient.

It all depends. For people who aren't local, it is the most important tool in my arsenal. I'd rank it highly.

Internet marketing is really needed if you want to make your site on the top of the search engines and being on top means more possible site visitors that can be a potential client. It is necessary that the site's environment is friendly and the content is valuable to the viewers. Doing marketing on your site requires time and effort so be patient enough to wait for its result.

It's done frequently and more importantly for my business. The higher you are the more you would have visitors as well as potential customers.
