Best day to send out mailers?

I'm putting together a calendar. Please let me know if you see a better day to mail out mailers over others. I know content is the most important but this may be secondary...

I don't agree with you because good content is always king.. And if our site has not good content how it will come to top result in Google and other search engines...

SellingHomesInTheOC, is this a mailer you are looking for a response from or are you sending out freebies to your present and former clients? I use to do some direct mail postcards in my inspection business and by far my best mail out day was Monday with the postcard getting to the prospect on Wednesday/Thursday. But that is just my experience

A calendar? I think the best part of the is late night or early in the morning. If that mail is truly valuable, but for your Q: any day would be fine except family day.

I agree with gatedcomusa...I've had best success with arrivals mid-week. I've seen some stats on this that confirm mid-week arrivals somewhere but couldn't find the original source.

I actually run a small online shop that prints and delivers newsletters, etc for real estate agents and I can completely confirm that we see higher open rates for pieces that arrive in the Wednesday/Thursday timeframe.

Anecdotal feedback from a bunch of my customers also seems to confirm this as well.
