    For Sale By Owner selling
    1 Prepare your home before putting up a "for sale" sign. Attract buyers and sell your own home with low cost cosmetic steps. Cut the grass, clean up the outside and paint drab walls.
    2 Set your price right and sell your own home fast.
    Find the true value of your home by comparing it to similar homes recently sold in your neighborhood. In one of her best home selling tips Audrie describes where to find recent selling prices and how to compare your house to other homes in your neighborhood.
    3 Good Advertising sells Homes.
    New low cost web sites will put multiple pictures of your house on the Internet. See a sample Internet home advertisement. Use Internet ads in combination with local newspapers and neighborhood flyers.

    I agree with all of your tips but for me the best tip which you have give is the 2nd one which is about setting right price and sell fast.

    Some great tips, thanks for sharing. I've often found that many "homes" can come up with these kind of tips, but if you're selling an apartment in an apartment block, then most don't always apply. some take aways I've noticed in the difference, then.

    Some things are out of your control - you can mow your own lawn, but if your stairwell to your apartment is shabby, it can be an instant put-off. Offer to coat a lick of paint, or even go the whole hog, and try and get the whole staricase done on approval of the other neighbours.

    Also, and this is a big one - take great photos. If you're using the internet to sell, the old addage really is true, a picture speaks a thousand words". It's great to entice people with clever photos that do not lie about real proportions. Once people see great photos, they may want to have a viewing.
