*sigh* Any questions about effective Real Estate Marketing?
I just got off the phone with one of my Freelance Copywriting coaching students following our regular bi-weekly teleseminar. I had mentioned something them that had been talked about here.
She said I was being mean---not to her, but to you guys
.
She used to be a Realtor. I'd mentioned to her what I'd mentioned here about not being interested in coaching Realtors, for a number of reasons.
But she said it was mean of me to NOT show you guys how to move past SEO obsession and fear of "time-wasting tire kickers."
And as I look around and see advice for "SEO and Keyword Selection" on threads about social media, and advice to "Find a good agent" in threads on FSBO...she may have a point. But there are two problems:
1. I don't want to coach Realtors (i've got a perfectly good thing going coaching writers, which I enjoy). 2. You don't want to pay me.*
So I promised her I'd do the next best thing: I'll put on a free teleseminar for anyone who's interested, (no strings attached), to discuss effective ways to build your business BESIDES cluttering up your site with SEO articles, and how to get more qualified leads in less time.
How do I know this works? Because they are the same tools I'm teaching my copywriting students to use to build their businesses and get more qualified leads in less time. There is a LOT in common btween the two. You think it's tough finding a good prospect to buy a decent house in a great neighborhood for what a seller can afford to take? Try finding a company that will pay a great writer $125 an hour to create a brochure. But that's exactly what my students are doing.
And most of these are things you can do yourself, without paying a webmaster or fussing over SEO. If you can send an email, you can do all of this in just a couple hours per month.
No, you can't pay me to do this for you. No, I don't have some "magic software" to sell you that will do all the work for you. All I'm going to do is tell you how. Whether or not you use any of it afterward is entirely up to you.
We'll have the call. I'll answer your questions. When it's over, I'll email you a link where anyone who submits a question can get a free download of the telelseminar, so you can have ALL the answers to ALL the questions for you to review at your leisure.
Right now the call is scheduled for 2pm Central Time. And I don't want her to keep bugging me, so I'll do the call whether there is 1 participant, or 100.
For the details (and to submit your questions for the call about effective online marketing), go here: http://www.lefthandedwriter.com/real-estate-teleseminar
*(trust me...I'm getting $250 an hour teching writers how to go from $25 an hour to $100+ an hour. Per student. I don't know what I'd charge you guys...but I'd doubt you'd want to pay it. Enjoy the free teleseminar instead.)
