wholesaling marketing ideas
I am wholesaling properties. I have well researched by area and have been using craigslist, backpage, and signs (poles, stakes, etc..) to advertise. i have signs for the car, as well as business cards. does anyone else know of any other kind of marketing that can be done that is relatively inexpensive, it dosent necessarily have to be online, but any kind of marketing? Thanks for the input.

One of the newest tools for agents and brokers is to incorporate the new (dot) tel domain to expand reach and to strengthen your brand.
I'd be happy to provide additional details on this powerful and inexpensive new way to broadcast your services and properties. PM for details.
Cheers,

Using resources such as craigslist, backpage does sounds a logical step indeed for a good advertising campaign. Appreciable idea, particularly when it comes to advertising.

Another marketing tool is through direct mail or email marketing for your target market. You may use this for your database of buyers.

Web2.0 Property Marketing & Craigslist are Harmonic
I believe you're on the right track but the thing is to establish a simple but proven system that's time effective and which will grow exponentially.
Web2.0 may be relatively new but it's now mature enough to ascertain what works and what doesn't without trying to reinvent the wheel so to speak.
I've just written a 37 page report about this very topic and its on my specialist site at workingrealtysmarter.com. You can also follow me on twitter and in the next couple of days I'll be posting a video link that shows you some way cool strategy for awesome instant craigslist power-ads using 100% free software and strategies! Add yourself as a follower at twitter.com/russellchall and I'll keep you posted!
Cheers you guys,... let's keep the ideas rolling and beat the hell out of this recesssion!

Useful Free Marketing Tool
I have used Postlets.com before. Its an online tool you can use that will help you post on Craigslist and other classifieds sites. It was very useful and has generated many buyers for me.
Another cheap and powerful marketing technique:
Build a list of real estate writers by outsourcing this task to a virtual assistant abroad. Send out a press release to all of the writers on your list. Make sure the press release is newsworthy. The "story or hook" is the hardest part. Presto, Leads Galore. Make sure to have a website online before you do this.
