Idea! with sharpie--write name and number on golf ball...
...Rent a golf cart and set the balls ready for the pleasantly surprised golfer... perhaps with a small note: "may not sink in 1--but home I have for sale will make you feel you did" ...if you play golf--simply after you tee off, though you'll need to jump around so the golfer behind you doesn't keep being the intended receiver.
Definitely non-traditional. And slightly joking... but I'm actually wanting to ask you Realtors a question.
Would you pay for someone to market your listings/yourself on the internet. If you're reading this, you're likely already really web savvy and do all your marketing--but think in behalf of colleagues of yours that could possible benefit from this.
That's something I'd ike to do.
I'm an architect student--and have done really well in an eBay business I started, reaching over $100k in sales. I enjoy design, and marketing--and feel I can save realtors time and sell their listings faster.
I'm still working out the details--but current plan is to charge on a per listing/per month basis and right to cancel anytime. Also considering a contract in which the Realtor doesn't pay a cent until the listing is sold. Great way to motivate myself.
Basically, I'll be fully responsible for all their internet marketing and advertising. Professional pictures of the home is included.
What do you guys think?
Have no idea what to charge either--suggestions will be great.

You will need to provide a detailed prospectus of what you are going to do, and when - to get anyone interested in your services.
"fully responsible" is far too vague
Are you going to contract out with photographers in every city to get the photos done?

Thanks for your reply.
Firstly--my services will be provided locally only. I'm a professional photographer and will be photographing myself. I'm a member of several photography discussion forums so in the event I go national--though very unlikely--I can perhaps rely on my network of forum friends.
Regarding the details to what exactly I'll do... that's still in the works to be honest.
I'll certainly be improvising as I go--and I'm planning on doing this for free to my first 2-3 clients in exchange for allowing me to utilize the creations/results to write case studies for my site--and only then will I get things better grounded.
But basics are: photography, video production (non-traditional videos--not ordinary slide-shows, rather unique video ads), uploading videos to all video sites, social networking, blogging, sending clients/prospects emails with attached pictures, web design, updating their existing sites, logo design, branding, print creations such as brochures, post cards, flyers, MLS submission, ect, ect.. it really depends on client, client's target buyer, and a host of other factors.
Hope this helps clarify

I have herd of agents who will pay for the meal of the people behind them when they go through the drive through and have the cashier hand them the agents card. Kind of the same idea as your golf balls.

I like the golf ball idea. If you could get custom golfballs with your logo and business info on them for a reasonable price it might be worth it to drop them all over the golf course. Golfers are bound to pick them up and stick them in their bag. Maybe have a joke like you suggested to help it stick out in their mind.
