Default How important your website is to your lead generation activities?

Ive been wanting to ask this question to agents and brokers for sometime. On a scale from 1 to 10 ( 10 being the most ), how important your website is to your lead generation activities? Fire away.

I get about one deal per month from my websites. Our team of three Realtors did 129 last year, so from my perspective it plays a pretty important part.

I get 5 deals everymonth. As my site is in top 10 in Google, it attracts many customers over here.

Whoa. 5 deals a month is pretty good isn't it? I have been told that 2-3 deals a month are quite normal..I guess it really depends on the value of each closing deal. 1 deal per month might be more than enough if the value is substantial. Seems that websites are a part of your revenue generating channels. Anyone else?

    Thanks for the feedback guys

It depends on where you're ranked on the search engines, and how much traffic visits your website.

No offense Joe1 but I think that it goes beyond search engine ranking and traffic volume because you can have very low traffic and still get very good conversion rates. Its the way you market online that makes the difference. Carefully planned drip campaigns, email marketing and follow up calls, stuff like that makes the sale.

Default How about an additional 100k a year

I agreed with the comments in this thread. Having a website now is vital to a successful Real estate business.

True, you can have 5 visitors a month to your site, but if 3 out of 5 ends up closing a deal with you, then you're set.

    Let's do the math.

    If you make an average of $5000 per deal. x 3 = $15000 / m.

Whoa! Now is that possible? How real does it get? No wonder realtors are willing to pay up to 20 grand for their website.

Do you guys mind if I show this thread to my potential clients?

It is amazing how many agents do not have, nor want, a website. I think it is mostly due to the fact that so many agents who do not have a website are not selling any homes and are scared to let go of any money what so ever.
