Default How to Get YOUR Listings on the First Page of Google

    Hi,

I just posted a new video that shows you how easy it is to get your listings to the first page of google.

Could you use some help like that?

I cannot post a link to the video yet so I'll try and explain it here...

The idea is to use keywords, the terms that people search on, that are LESS competitive. If you type in Knoxville Real Estate, you'll get millions of search results.

BUT - if you type in Knoxville Real Estate under 300K, there is a LOT less competition.

So it follows that if you TITLE a blog or blog page the ADDRESS of your listing, then within 24 hours, you should have the first page of google - for people searching on the address.

How do you get people to do a search on the address? I'll save that one for later :-)

    Mike

Yep, more specific keywords have a lot less competition so targeting those would be better but if those keywords have very low daily word searches, then drop it. It's useless.

Google's keyword tool shows search counts in averages per month. Sometimes amounting to almost nil in daily search. I wonder if the long tail keywords has a potential to grow since it has obvious potential to shrink. Stupid question?

the specificness of the keyword you type in the search engine, the less of the results.. But of course, clients that are searching in the internet are not aware of specific keywords..

The more spacific/targeted the keywords the more qualified the leads will be as well.

Thanks for sharing the idea Mike

There really is nothing better than having a clean, well designed site using common web standards. Then, you need relevant content that is continually added and updated. The smallest factor that helps you out is how many posts you have on related forums and blogs.

Do people actually search for that term? I would think something like "Downtown Lexington Kentucky Real Estate" may be a bit better. Im not sure if someone will search "Lexington Kentucky Real Estate under 300k".
