I think you are absolutely right. Using video is indeed a good technique for bringing some traffic to your site and as you stated YouTube is the most important place for such work. A quality video can attract sellers to your site but something what you need is to plan well for that. There is nothing wrong in using video.

However, without properly SEOing your videos, it would not bring the desired attention. Do a search with the term Youtube SEO optimizing and you will get plenty of articles on how to achieve that...

Default Video is the rage these days

My first post! I am so nervous!

As for video, I talked to someone this week about how he uses video very successfully to get a ton of traffic to his sites.

I didnt understand it much because we didnt have much time to talk but this week when I have down time I am going to find out more.

With that said the little that he did tell me made a lot of sense.

I will keep you posted what he shares with me.

    Have a great weekend!

It will certainly benefit to the advertiser both in selling and advertising. About the professionalism, well, you could use camcorder, because YT quality is below what cheesiest camcorder today could record. But, you need a professional cameraman. To set up the light, to hold it properly, maybe even a tripod for more precise shots etc. So if you are self confident, you should browse through couple of websites dedicated to video capturing and take a few of practice shots. It wont be 100% professional but I am sure that they will be satisfying. And a small tip: always record on sunny day, and use 3CCD chip camcorder, because they have better color sampling, picture is more vivid. They are a bit more expensive but it will pay off.

Considering video SEO, it's kinda new area, but principles are still the same. Also you might try YT paid video promotion service, it's like AdWords, only for videos.

    Cheers,

Default Video for better user experience

Visuals can give a better feel for the buyer and is next only to an actual site visit. Videos can be easily embedded in to a web page using Video sharing sites like youtube and is inexpensive.

Default TONS of business... done right

Video is the 21st Century way to market yourslef, your services, and your listings.

However, without a proper plan and video sequence, meshed with an autoresponder, it won't turn people instantly into customers.

Here's a thought - set up a blog on then set up static pages on the blog. Or you could even set up multiple FREE blogs.

On each one, put up a video of you demonstrating a tip that will save a buyer money, or that will help a seller sell their home.

Once you have about 15 to 20 pages with video on them, then you set up a landing page offering 25 video tips for selling or 25 video tips for buying - whichever you want to focus on.

You are offering all of this for free so people will sign up on your lead capture/opt-in form.

Once you have a lead, then you send them via your autoresponder to a different tip every day for 25 days.

Your leads will "get to know you" through the videos and will feel comfortable calling you and emailing you with more questions.

START the conversation with video and the rest will happen.
