Forbes and Businessweek Directories
Has anyone here paid for the exclusive listing Forbes.com or Businessweek.com?
I have had two of my clients ask me about this service this week. It's not cheap for an exclusibe listing - over $400 a year for each of directory. I know the main sites drive a lot of traffic, but I don't have a clue if the directories drive traffic. There are links to the directories on each home page. The one on Forbes is buried at the bottom of the page. The one on Businessweek does have a left hand sidebar placement, but it is small and kind of gets lost in the rest of the stuff in that sidebar.
If you are not using the exclusive listing, have you tried the free listing? Do you receive any traffic?

I don't know about listings, but I have Forbs RSS feed on my site and it is pitiful - I have a feeling they update their news by-weekly and its only one or two articles on real estate. If they do as good job with the directory as with real estate news - I wouldn't pay. You definitely need more info on that.
Real Estate Directory - includes links to MLS search, property listings, and your real estate blog. Free content page, featured areas and other options are available.
Phoenix Realtor referred me to this forum! but even he knows SarahK is the best Mod
