    Default Local Internet Marketing

I work with a great company for marketing Real Estate Agents online - Peak Studios. They offer local internet marketing (peakstudios.com/local-search-engine-marketing-optimization) that has brought me great success! I previously was using pay per click and switched over this fall. I am so glad I did I have reduced my monthly marketing cost and got a ton of new contacts/clicks. If you are looking for a great way to market online I would highly recommend these guys!

How much did you save when you used their service instead of PPC?

You can really see a major difference in shifting from PPC promotional strategies to working with third parties like this Peak Studios. The thing is, PPC is really an amazing marketing tool if done correctly.

When it comes to PPC, people have to keep in mind that it will usually take time, money, proper research and a lot of testing before you yield good conversion rates. It's not an easy thing, but it can really provide a phenomenal marketing funnel for people who take the time to tweak it.

Because of this, PPC marketing has been known to kill people's budgets and provide little to know conversions/leads in the process. The key to PPC success is to start small and then build on it when you start getting good conversion rates.

That being said, I would also be interested in the cost and conversion differentiation you are having with Peak Studios.

Actually I don't defend on whether one should choose PPC or a third party service from company like Peak Studios.

I agree with you with whatever you mentioned and in compliance to that I would like to say about my experience.

With PPC, I have full and 100% control over my expenditure. Of course, I have done a research on how much should I spend and I have also made provisions to track the conversions so I know on which ad group I should spend money.

PPC gives you the ability to auto learn the marketing with great ease, flexibility and analytical reports.

While saying this, I respect the abilities of third party services.

    Default I agree but disagree...

PPC can be a useful tool but the main consideration here is website conversion. If you have 100 visits but only convert one visitor to a lead, then your ROI is going to be terrible. Internet leads can be very lucrative, but it can take a learning curve to learn how to close them. For 2009, if you are managing PPC but not also investing in SEO then you have a very poor long term strategy. Once you are front page organicly then things really start to take off.

This is spot on..so many people focus on getting traffic to their site but give little to no thought about what the prospect will do once on the site.

If you are spending money on traffic, you are throwing it away if you are not capturing the visitors information and following up with them.

Default One thing I have learned

I am a marketing directory for a real estate marketing company, and one thing I have learned. All marketing initiatives should pay for itself, 150% over. Meaning, you are never "spending" money on marketing, you are investing in making more. For example our website has generated 200% more referrals and traffic leads due to being on the first page, and second, for terms like Daytona Beach Vacation Rentals While, there are many people who think marketing initiatives are costly and trivial, it is the only way to succeed. Especially in this market!
