Jiany, what a change! Love your new site, particularly when you allow owners to post their home sale. Smart move. Congrats!

    Default www.RealEstateResell.com

    HEll Max Thanks
I wanted to ask if you don't mind. At first glance did www.RealEstateResell.com look like a professional website? By that I mean if you had to post your property would you trust it.
Also I do not have much properties there now, that can be bad. Someone might realize that this is not a good site due to the fact that not many properties are there.
How and what do you think I can do to increase the amount of subscribers and to optimize it?
    Thanks

    Jiany,

The site looks good but I did notice at least one typo in your bottom intro paragraph (the word "and" typed twice, side by side). The wording was a bit rough, too, IMO.

Also, I noticed that you cannot see one property or do anything without having to register first. Most surfers are going to shy away from that.

I wouldn't want to enter a listing until I could see how the page is set up. What does it look like? You show no samples or anything.

I would think you'd need to offer at least one home to view before making them register, or something to make them feel comfortable enough to register.

I'm not sure what your ultimate goal is with this site. But requiring all to register before they get to see anything almost sounds like you're trying to capture leads to sell. Kind of like Homegain or others.

If that's not what you're trying to do then I wouldn't make viewers register. In fact, you shouldn't make a person wanting to list a property register the way you currently have it.

Ease them into registering when they fill out your form while they're adding their property. IOW, if you want their name & e-mail address make that a requirement of their adding the listing. But just have it on the listing form, not immediately before the form is even provided.

    Jiany,

Yes, you site looks very professional. And I agree with Judy 100%. I find that registration turn many people off. Their objective of coming to your web site is to search for property, not checking the weather. When you're competing on the web, there're lots of other people who offer home search without registration. Unless your site has something very special to offer that the users can't live without, you might find people leaving your site quickly. All you need to do is to check your site stats and see how many people arriving at your site and actually stay there. The answer will be right there whether you should have registration or not.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Max
You guys are right. Im in the proces of taking the registration off.
You mentioned that unless I got something to capture the customer, they won't stay. Beside taking the registration form out upon arriving on the site, what would make you want to stay in a Real Estate Web Site?

I though I would have infomation regarding investments and other programs, but what elso comes to mind?
    Thanks
