Exclamation Who would you contact if you had investment $$$?

    Please help me brainstorm this....

If you had $200k to $1 million to invest, but you didn't know how to invest it yourself, who might you contact?

Here are some of the obvious ones I've come up with:
    Residential RE Agents
    Estate and Trust Lawyers
    Financial Planners
    Accountants

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated! I am a commercial RE agent and I'm trying to develop a list of key professionals to network with.
    Multi-Unit Residential Investments
    www.jamespartners.com
SF Bay Area and National Investments

I'd be looking at someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the decision I make. So that counts out the agents etc.

I'd probably look at my local property investors association and talk to people about what is working for them right now. Then once I have some ideas I'd talk to my account, my lawyer and look for the right realtor to find the kind of deals that fit my strategy.

Oh, and I loathe financial planners so I'd never, ever be giving them the time of day.

Good advice by Sarah. Narrow down what you are looking for and then find a specialist. We are triple net brokers and know little about land or owner occupied. Land and lease brokers know little about the net leased market. Avoid those that say they are jack of all trades. They might exist, but I have never met one that adds any value.

I could help you invest that money. If you can invest 1 million you'll rec. 175k+ in equity in addition as my investor is willing to take a loss to liqudate asap. Its in Costa Rica and its a developement for retirees that want to relocate there and retire.
