Are others finding investors realizing that we are near the bottom (or at the bottom) of the market, and they are "getting off the fence" and looking to buy? We are finding more and more investors realizing what a great time it is to be looking....

Yeah I think the ones that are starting to look now are those that believe in the old addage "When everybody is bearish about the market that is when it has hit the bottom." I dont think that we are at the bottom of all markets. Some still have a long ways to go in my opinion. But, some of the worse markets could really come back very soon. If the Las Vegas market continues in the direction it has been over the last three months I would say Vegas will hit bottom before the end of the summer. They were the first market to see substantial property declines and so it makes sense that they will be the first to hit bottom. I think everyone should note that there is three states that have done amazingly well when you take into account how difficult it has been to get a loan. Those states being North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. Imagine how well these areas will do when the credit markets turn around since they have wheathered this strom.

A piece of land, and the buildings that are on it. Natural resources, such as water, that are on the land also are part of real estate.
A professional sales person who sells houses, condominiums, and cooperative apartments for a living. The real estate agent legally represents sellers, even if he or she is working with buyers to show them properties.

YES! Whether buying just before the bottom or on the other side of the curve (as property prices start to rebound), now is a great time to buy real estate in most markets across the land. Our forum has seen a definite jump in people who not only want to buy their first homes but their second or even third homes as well.

The real estate market will not stay priced this low forever

People who are hesitating to buy or invest a home must realized that now is the perfect time to purchase, why? mortgage rates are at its lowest level in nearly 50 years together with how affordable homes in the market at this moment. So make a move while prices and mortgages are affordable.
