    Default Book recommendation ?

Can anyone recommend a good book on real estate investing with no cash needed? I'm hoping to find a book that would not only teach what to do but also step by step on how to do it.

Is possible to gain the knowledge and confidence to invest from reading a book or is a mentor needed?

I suggest Robert Shemin. Straight to the point and, most importantly, in plain english
I have tried others and they were not as clear as him...
    My 2 cents though...

    Cody,
Thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely get a copy of this book.

My best was "Making your fortune in Real Estate investing" from Shemin.
    He gets several books.

A mentor will give little tricks here and there with the process, so it's good but you may learn them alone, time to time, and go with a couple of good books...

You will not gain enough knowledge and experience by just reading books. In the world of real estate investing, you learn it while doing it. It would be ideal to have a mentor, especially for beginner investors. Without a mentor, your real estate investing career will be slow and bumpy, but you can still do it.
