Building A Wholesale Buyers List
I have been cranking up the wholesale part of my business and have been getting a number of great deals. I am building my buyers list with some success, but does anyone have any creative ideas for building a buyers list? Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks,Josh A. Schoenly

Have you considered purchasing this type of data.
Purchasing contacts allows you to spend your valuable time selling rather than researching.
If you contact me, I can work with you to develop a list which will perform!

It's not what you know, but WHO you know....
It's all about networking. If you can't buy your list, then just talk to as many people as possible. Rich's link mentioned REIAs. That where we got our start, but you can't stop there. Attend as many RE related events as possible.
Meet as many people as you can. And instead of just handing out your business card to everyone you meet, make it your goal to *get* everyone's card, even if you don't hand out as many of yours. That give you the power to contact them and stay in touch. If you hand out 100 cards, how many will call you? If you get 100 cards, how many can you call?
Another idea on the newspaper ad mentioned in the link... when you do have a property for sale, put in the paper for a very long time, even if it's sold quickly, you will continue getting calls. "I'm sorry, that one's been sold, but is that the type of property you're looking for??? ... "
Good luck...

I was thinking about taking the boards if that would give me access to the mls. Too busy at the moment, maybe I'll get my wife to do it!

Here are just a few easy ones . . .
- Posting ads on online classifieds sites
- Calling those "We Buy Houses" signs around your farm
- Attending REIA meetings and networking with other investors
- Looking for recent cash sales on the MLS and contacting the buyersBiggerPockets.com
