My question is regarding Tax sales / Upset sales here in PA. These sales are for unpaid taxes. not bank foreclosures.

So with these you need to do your due dilgence and do a title search and such.

Once that is complete and you see there is lien, How can you find out the current amount of the Lien. I have tried in the past and because of privacy the banks will not tell you.


The other question is Presume that you win one of these an you either missed a lien and a bank comes collecting. The bank is going to demand the full amount due correct. they are not going to allow you to assume the mortgage. So your option would be to get a loan of your own to settle with the lien holder correct?
