    Default Pay Parking Lots 101

I would love to hear from others who have had experience buying and selling parking lots. How did you find it? Lessons learned? Still have it? Pitfalls?

    My story:
I stumbled onto a my first lot by pure luck and it has paid me everyday since. I am proud to say I have not stepped foot on lot that in 4 years! I know what events will bring in terms of cash and I let my attendant know the same. If the numbers are off (not happened yet) I know something is wrong. I have used the same attendant on this lot for 8 years and pay him well to be helpful and attentive. Works out great. Since then I have picked up other lots and sold some and kept some. I currently have 6 lots in 3 different states and life is good. I went from multiple 4-plexes (2am complaint calls - oh joy) to zero maintenance other than slurry seal and stripping every 7 years (I have had to do this twice).
