    Question who do you trust?

Out of all the real estate investing gurus out there. Who is the best?

    Default Who to trust?

Personally I don't trust any Gurus. I guess some of the gurus are advertiser of big estate companies.

I agree that I usually have not gurus, as I think that a person can't be a guru. There are people who I respect and think that they do great work.

I tend to trust people that I've met and that I work with regularly. These people are less "gurus" than mentors. They can answer detailed questions without delving into generalities or philosophic lessons. These are the sources from which to get practical advice on relevant issues.

I've been in the business since 2003, when I was just 20 years old. I took lots of courses before I got started, read ALL the books and I can tell you that I'm not big on gurus! Did you know that the Rich Dad Poor Dad courses, for example, are not even owned by Robert Kiyosaki??!!

I have found success however with an accredited "College" that teaches Real Estate Investing, much like a trade school! They have both "online" and "in person" courses. I have taken most of the courses they offer. Their instructors are some very HEAVY HITTERS in the game! They also sincerely care about the success of their students. I have gotten lots of personal mentorship from them and despite being very busy, they respond relatively quickly to help me when I hit bumps in the road. The school itself also has its own bank to lend money to students for deals, they provide you with a business development team, a tax strategy team, and a Legal team. Within 2 months of finishing my first course I had created a residual income stream of over 40k per year, applying just some of the know how that I picked up!! I don't want to say too much, I don't want people to get my share confused with a sales pitch!
