There is often a balance reached between these two factors based on immediate versus long term goals. We typically teach people to “buy and hold”. Whether your property is cash flowing or not, it will typically appreciate much better than most any stocks, bonds or mutual funds could ever do.
Choose your focus and choose your investments accordingly. Have your realtor or representative examine these factors for any investment you purchase. Ask them for their experienced and educated opinion.

This is good to know about these investment incomes as, before investing it is very important for us to know how we are investing and where. I mean this will be helpful for us in every sense.

It depends on what you know, your age and the level of risk you're willing to take on, and your time horizon for needing the money. Within each type of investment (stocks and financial instruments vs. real property, for example) it also depends on how wisely you invest the money and how closely you watch it after you do.

There always risk in any investment in real estate.It depends how smartly you analyze the market.Yes definitely the two factors you have mentioned should keep in mind but i think before investing you should examine market & your portfolio.Its not like stock market where you hold the stock for a month or two you get return.Firstly you have to be prepare that this almost take minimum a year or more if you have already planned to sell the property in future.

I think property investment is best these days because recession has over and property is growing day by day. Even property investment also depends upon Country wise. Some countries are developing and some are already developed. So its best to deal in developing countries.
