    Question Does convenience play an important role while buying a property in suburbs?

    With the demand for accommodation, Mumbaikars are now moving towards the suburbs This brings the question of convenience as to how important is it to have a residence near to the station? Does having a resident near the station have an added advantage or it doesnot make much of a difference to you?

    Resident near a station or a bus deppo is always an added advantage especially when you are in suburbs.No second thought on that...

    Of course it;s important. I can't imagine myself living next to the station or bus deppo. It's terrible from all points. It's better to pay more but to live somehwere quieter.

    Thumbs up Hi,

    Yes, it is an added advantage to have a flat near by the station because then you can save yourself from the pain of spending energy, time and money to reach station. Besides travelling wont seem to be hectic

    Thumbs up Development shall solve the purpose

    @Versatile:

    Yes convenience definitely plays and important role which buying a house, be it anywhere.
    Talking specifically about suburbs, I think few years back it would have been a problem but now the scenario has changed. Now we see developers moving towards suburbs to construct new properties. Mumbai has become too crowded to have any more new constructions to take place. Of-course re-development is one of the aspects but with lot of population and pollution Mumbaikars are forced to move towards Suburbs both for commercial and Residential properties.
    A lot is spoken about in terms of development, infrastructure, connectivity, amenities etc and these are the key points which help the place grow. This is increasing the demand for flats in suburbs.
    In terms of property prices, suburbs are economically cheaper and so it is preferable for common man. Moreover it is less polluted and shall be completed developed soon.

    So convenience shall not be a problem at all after a couple of years.
