    Default property under contract

When you place a property under contract, are there fees involved?

There are only fees involved if the contract states fees. The term "under contract" simply means that you have a contract so you are most likely the one that has entered escrow.

    The short answer is "no."
That said, you generally have to put down a deposit, and as you move closer to settlement you will have expenses, such as appraisal fees, home inspector fees, etc.
The fees associated with buying a home are generally paid at settlement.
    Hope that helps!

No,I don't think there is. All the payments involving a property, are only at the settlement period.

I don't think that there are fees involved in a property contract.
