    Default In canada, Eh???

Canada is basically the same as the US not that different.... They call alot of stuff different names thats all.

And lawyers do all the closing not title companies, except 2.

It all relates back to the deal... a deal in west palm beach is a deal, a deal in leamingtion Ontario is a deal only if its a deal....

Canada can be tougher in some aspects.. Ie: you cant do shortsales, but you can try, they kind of do them but you cant trasfer title untill the lender is paid out, etc....

    So good Luck....

I think Canada can be a good place to invest in real estate as the country is developing and it's improving its immigration policy. I know a lot of people are coming to the country every year and they need a house to live. And besides the territory is very huge.

    Hello,

the biggest difference between the two would be the endless opportunites in America with Government Secured Tax Lien Certificates & Tax Deeds. There are many more available, and they pay a much higher interest rate in the states.

I ahve just completed a new report "7 Steps to Investing in Tax Liens & Tax Deeds" ... if you would like to receive my new report just send me a PM with your email address and I will forward it to you.

All you will need to do is cross the border to states like NY, MI, MT, WA, and may others. I think you will be very interested in the simplicity and the profits you can make.

I would like to wish you the absolute best in all of your future Real Estate Deals and Ventures.

Default Depends on what happens with . . .

the economy in Canada and the current natural resources that are being extracted. If Canada finds something useful and cost effective to do with all the shale oil, then I would say invest around the areas in which they're extracting all of it. Once that stuff dries up, I would cash out as quickly as possible, but your looking at least ten years down the road. It also depends on what alternative energies come on line - i.e. solar, wind, hydro, etc. - that might make their shale oil worthless. Investing in Canadian real estate is always going to be a play on energy. If they have nothing to offer in this respect, then there wont be much for the individual investor to work with.
