Invest in Real Estate is the good source of money making and i think this is the right time to invest where the property market is down.

I agree with Bhomes. This is the time when you can invest in real estate but should have good strategy before investing.

Right now as long as you focus on assuring a cash flow from the property and you can hold onto it for 5-10 years you cannot go wrong. This market turmoil will have people looking back on it in future years saying it was the very best opportunity in the 20th century. Right now of course everyone is afraid of the future.

    Interest rates are low too.

Perhaps wait for possible layoffs and company closings in January. Prices may fall more ...

    Default Real Estate Investing

While I would certainly not discourage anyone from investing in real estate right now, I have a bad feeling that the spring and summer won't show us the real estate revival we're all hoping for. With the economy in the toilet and foreclosures skyrocketing, I don't see a lot of silver lining right now, even in the traditional peak season.
That being said, it will probably bump up a little in the summer, so now's probably better than then.

I tend to agree that now is an excellent time to invest in real estate for the long term. I, for one, do not prescribe to the concept of 'good market, bad market', because it really depends more on your goals than anything else. We primarily are buy and hold investors, utilizing cashflow and possible appreciation more than net proceeds from sales.

Real Estate is no different than any other investment. If you dont know what you are doing, dont invest.
