People with Bad Credit May Have Hope
A significant portion of people that hope to buy a home have been victims of the larger economic problems of the mortgage industry. They are often in a bad credit situation because of forces beyond their control: company down-sizing, business failures due to the economy, loss of equity in their previously owned or recently foreclosed homes. Leasing to own gives them hope that, as they repair their credit and financial situation, they will have a place to live. Knowing that they can live in a home now, clean up their credit problems, and then buy the home they have been living in, offers great comfort.

leasing to own is a great way to get back into a home. The buyer just needs to make sure that their payments to wards the home are being reported to the credit bureaus.

It's a luxury to own a house, but for those who have bad credits, I think it's best to settle first the credit. So that when you start leasing a house you don't have mountains of credits to pay. But I'm sure you can find cheap properties especially on rural areas.
