Mold in your home
Just about every home has some mold in it. However mold odor or mold on the walls of a home is not normal or expected.
Testing and interpretation of mold and allergen testing results should be left to the true experts in the field (aerobiologists and mycologists, immunologists, microbiologists and toxicologists).
Some mold spores are known to cause health problems, others may or may not be harmful. Mold spores have become a hot topic and a controversial issue. There are no acceptable or unacceptable levels of mold contamination set by the Center for Disease Control, the Environmental Protection Administration, or any other independent authoritative source.
If you think there is or may be a mold problem It is necessary for you to contact experts in the field, the CDC and the EPA. Make sure you get a second opinion. Discuss the implications of mold with your attorney, doctor and home owner's insurance carrier.
