ActiveRain is Great
I have been using activerain for some time now and it has done wonders for me. I would recommend it to everybody.

Hello! When I post to ActiveRain and then link to my website and my blogs, it boosts my in the search engine rankings. It's a good link neighborhood for real estate.

This is the first time i have heard of Active Rain, what exactly is it suppose to do? It's good to use caution when using linking schemes because it can do more harm than good for your site.

It does seem to be a nice outlet to get out information on yourself and your team or company. We have used it for some time here in Minnesota, and have got a few hits to our main website from it. We have found, clients often times when searching online, are simply looking for a realtor's site where they can search listings for sale or find an agent to search the actual MLS for them....we set up a profile on Activerain and though it has not done wonders for us, it has sent a few visitors to our site and allowed them to search for real estate. I hope this helps.

Active Rain is a great resource for Realtors and I recommend that al of my clients join.
Not only is Active Rain indexed highly in Google, but if you also have a blog on there (as many realtors do) then that can also boost your SEO. At the very least it is great networking tool and enables you to virtually get to know other in your field.
