I have a real estate tv show that I am producing. Our show focuses on showcasing homes and will be reaching over a million viewers in tampa bay. Our pricing structure is low, like $40 for six airings per week, and we have even designed a viewer incentive program for the viewers who watch and buy a home get up to $500 in discounts, gift certificates, etc for the home owner who needs to purchase items related. We will cross promote, advertise on high traffic websites and even in print.

My problem is this. I have had to reschedule airtime once already because I don't have enough clients. I have been faxing, calling, emailing..and though the clients I have are loyal enough to wait we really need to air our show. I was thinking that maybe contacting these companies in person and visiting them would help, but I work in television and am not sure how the residential real estate market works as far as whether the agents and brokers stay in their office. Do you think its better to visit in person? Do you have any ideas? Our show can offer a valuable resource to both the agent and the viewer and our pricing structure is so low that it allows for flexibility of the agent. Its a great concept! Help...

well I think its just about the marketing approach. We are approaching this from a very aggressive standpoint and encouraging the customer not to onlyl view, but to also purchase the property on air with an incentive. I have seen other approaches from other companies, and they have been passive. I think that automatically assuming that it will not work might be a mistake. Plus, we are just 40, for six airings and have a great network with credibility to air our show. The key here is that we will also be consistent, being on air for 7 days a week and indefinitely thereafter.
