I think that if you want to sell your domain for $999 or any other amount then you need to learn how to spell words properly and to advertise the domain as for sale for $999 - not "999 $US".

Another suggestion: when you register your domain name, there is no need for the "www." part ...all the domain names nowadays do not need the "www." part to be typed into the url to be directed to the website.

Registering with "www." in front of your url is indicative of an old domain name... I don't know, maybe it's just a Canadian thing. Many of us stopped advertising websites by saying or typing the "www." part in front.

    Feedback anyone?

    How much did you pay?

Hope you didn't pay much as justlistedsold.com is only a year old, I would never purchase a domain name which is already registered unless it was at least 5 years + old otherwise it simply isn't worth it especially for a name like that.

Suggestions for the domains? FSBO site?

It isn't really a good domain for a real estate company website but depends what you want to do with it and how much work you are willing to do and what your main objectives were when you bought it.

You need to plan before you go and buy a domain what you are going to do with it - obviously you haven't?

"999 $US" --> this is not me -- The company that I use for parking my urls.

About the www: You don't need to buy that.
    It comes by default.

about buying 5 year old domains: If the name is good, I pay $1000.00 even if it is just registered.

I have about 700 urls now, some I paid over $1000.00

visit DNform.com you will see urls sold for 15,000 to 25,000 like cakes.

I don't have any that I could sell for $25,000.00 but some of my urls would be wroth that much in the next few years. (I hope)

    Thanks

People that buy up domain names just to try and resell them are bottom feeders and scumbags - plain and simple. They are like the people who drive into town after a hurricane and try to sell generators, batteries, and water for 10x the normal price.

IMHO, that domain name is worthless.

I just saw you are the super moderator; I don't want to mess with you.
You do have a nice forum. (don't want to be kicked out)

But would like to say check DNforum.com, you will know more about the value of domain names.

About the Spell check: I am not a good typist

Smile Business.com sold for $350 Million

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1185...googlenews_wsj

Nice to see that Business.com is sold for $350 Million.

That is the potential for .com and the online world.

So, if you buy and keep some good names that is a good idea.

    Thanks

...if I was a buyer, "just listed" would hold much more interest for me. If a house is already sold...? I'd be looking somewhere else.

Of course, there are sellers, too.
