Opening Real Estate Office - Phone System Suggestions
Hello All,
I have been a licensed broker for 7 years, and have been very successful, but now I am opening my own brokerage. I would like to know if any of you have a suggestion for an efficient & cost effective phone system on the market. Some of the features that I had in mind were call forwarding, internet voicemail, and multiple lines.
I appreciate any and all feedback.
Regards
Brian

I got my last phone system on Ebay for about $600. Basically a Lucent / Avaya phone system, had all the capabilities you mentioned. It's upgradable too, similar to this:

Basically it has a few multi-line phones with a central upgradable processor module.
In terms of call volume we were a retail business with 4 lines ringing off the hook pretty much all the time, so it worked out pretty well.

I use an NEC system with 6 lines. I paid a ton for phones, wiring, setup. I think it just one of those rip off (but necessary) expenses of opening a new brokerage.
