    Default Successful part-timers?

    Hi all,
Anyone have any good experiences with selling real estate part-time? I know, I know, I'll get lots of posts about how it's a bad idea. But, has anyone out there done it successfully, particularly at the start of your real estate career? Thing is, I already have a good job, $100K a year, but I don't know how long it will last. I have my real estate license already.

    Thumbs up Go For It!

The term "part-time" is relative. Who says you can't have more than one career?

If you treat the profession with respect, you will have success. Continue your continuing education, and be a professional.

I think you are smart for looking to the future. Good luck.

I have a group of licensed real estate sales persons and brokers who are not actively practicing real estate on our office.

By joining us, you can earn sizable fees for simply referring homebuyers and sellers to the Northeastern Realtors sales force. You don't need to worry about rigid work schedules. Our average fee paid to an inactive agent is $2,000 based on an average selling price of $500,000.

The only requirements are you have to have a current real estate license and you cannot actively be associated with another real estate company. Please let me know if this program will work for you while you are still holding to your $100,000 job.
