Websites DO Make a Difference! Help is here!
Hi everyone!
I am very very very new to the wonderful world of real estate. I am a new college grad, and am planning on enrolling in an online course with Allied Real Estate sometime this week.
I've been browsing through this form and have noticed that there are a lot of concerns about website building and SEO. (This forum is absolutely amazing, by the way- I'm learning a lot)
Anyway....if anyone needs help building a website, I can definitely put together a basic, professional-looking HTML page to start you off. I do a bit of SEO work too. I will eventually be doing the same for myself once I get my license and everything. However, for the time being...I'd love to get any of you a started page.
I started a web design company called Studio10 Fourteen (studio10fourteen.com). You can get one of my best packages for under $1000. My lowest package is currently priced at $250. The quality between the two packages is NO different. It's just a matter of how many email accounts you want, how much web space, how many pictures, etc etc.
Alright- I'm finished rambling. If you are interested, simply visit my site and click on the "Contact Us" link. It'll send your message to my email.
I'd definitely be willing to discount packages in exchange for valuable real estate advice. I'm in the Dallas area and have been told that the market here is pretty good. Thanks everyone for reading!!

sounds a little high
Your 250-1000 seems a little high. I have been presented by multiple companies that offer fantastic sites and support for under $50 a month which includes the IDX!!!!!

web design help
Hi! The $250-$1000 is the flat fee-- not monthly fee. My support is only $19.99/month. I hope that helps!!

Real Estate buyers online
It's amazing how many of the buyers and sellers now in today's real estate markets are starting their searching online.
We are really amazed to see how many saved seaches we are seeing for various buyers here in Minnesota on our team websites. Though a buyer can't access the actual MLS, they can see various homes for sale on agent's websites as you mention.
A top website is key to generating online traffic! Thanks for your post.Minnesota MLS & Minneapolis MLS Search homes for sale in Minneapolis, St Paul at MN Multiple Listing Service. websites
I am strictly a buyers broker. My website is my only source of business, as I have no listings. I have been doing web real estate for quite awhile, and generate 30-50 closings a year with the internet. Properly done, it is quite lucrative!

Most agent sites aren't worth the domain they bought...
Because....all you do is talk about who YOU are instead of relating who you are to a possible benefit to the buyer or seller. Put service back into the internet and create a benefit to the buyer or seller on the site to do business with YOU.
There is even a website in my market of an agent sitting in an executive chair smoking a big stogie...he is being laughed out of town
Follow up, follow up, follow up, follow up untill they BUY or DIE!!

A quality website is only part of the internet strategy. Obviously we know since we are active on this forum! But there is PPC, other forums and advertising venues online, etc, etc. It is going to change the business, and already is changing the business.

Seriously, you are a fish out of the water if you don't have any sort of online presence.
I like it when people register domains for specific properties like www.123demostreet.com Seems a little excessive, but I guess it works.Last edited by Chief Tutor; 01-20-2009 at 12:20 PM. Reason: Fixed Broken Link.
