I have actually been considering going down this road with the way the market is now. There is so much out there for so cheap compared to what it once was. I know prices probably won't grow to where they were in 2005 but this is a bottom and I don't see prices dropping anymore.

I would also suggest hiring a buyers agent to send you all the homes that fit your specific criteria since there are many many more homes in the MLS. Plus, since banks list their properties with real estate agents, this is the best way to find out about foreclosed bargain priced properties.
