Default Instant Bulk Mail - no more stuffing envelopes!

Hi, I thought this news would fit under the Pro forums. One of our agents discovered NetPost services provided by USPS - it words, its a bulk mail service that allows you to mail cards, letters, booklets, flyers etc. - the only thing you do is upload your template with the message/letter and the addresses. If you do it before 2pm EST the mail will be send out the next day. The service is quite extensive and flexible. They will do black and white and full color prints, they use barcode, so your postage prices are lower than in-house mailings. I made a post on my site about Bulk Mailing with NetPost yesterday, so I would like to link to it Check it out, I think it worth your attention.

I'm surprised there are no comments so far
Isn't there a single agent who still practices bulk mailing as farming tool?

I had tried to use the NetPost service a year or two ago and found it confusing in terms of figuring how to proceed with the process. I sure they improved on that by now. I use Quantum Mail for all of my mailings. Comparing the pricing (standard size postcard, full color, glossy, first class presort included) QM appears much less expensive. .45/card with only a 100 card min opposed to .83/card with a 1-249 count order. On a 6x9 card the price for QM is .80 opposed to 1.30/card with PostNet. The QM prices include an additional per card charge to customize using their design tools. QM also doesn't require uploading or creating a mailing list and has a feature that allows you to enter a zip code and choose individual streets in that zip to target. For just listed/just sold cards they also allow you to enter an address and they give you all neighboring addresses from different streets within a specified area. They also have a large assortment of images and templates to choose from and orders are shipped quickly.

Edit- forgot to mention that QM requires a one time set-up fee of $39

Sounds pretty interesting. What's their web site? I think these kind of things would be huge time and money savers for the agents.

it's a huge timesaver as opposed to my former, prehistoric method which was very labor intensive and saved a few pennies per card. working smarter not harder is a wonderful thing

Exactly! That's why I was so amased by the NetPost services because I haven't seen anything like that before - and thought "if anyone just knew" wouldn't leave me alone - that's why I made a post on my site and created the topic here I think a lot people will appreciate it Thanks a lot HMiller! I will investigate it a little more

I use Quantum for all of my farming postcards. The broker I work for has custom templates designed by Quantum. You can use their stock templates or for a fee, they will create cards with custom designs for you. If you mail your cards bulk it takes about two weeks for them to be delivered. If you prefer 1st class postage they can print and address the cards then send them to you. You attach the stamps and drop them in the mail.Their website is Quantummail.com

Their on-line design tool is a little challenging, but after a couple of conversations with customer support I've got it down.
