While there has been a nationwide slump, Pittsburgh is up and sailing. Compared to 2006, its average selling price was 3.2% higher from $146,000 to $150,000. Besides, it is more a buyer dominant market in here and thus even many first time home buyers can negotiate for getting the best deal on residential homes.
