    google adwords is the number one pay per click

    yes however, I wouldn't ignore the other smaller ones as they are less expensive and you can get more bang for your buck.

    Yes as far as volume of traffic goes. MSN now Bing has the greatest ROI. Not 100% sure why, but generally more people that search via MSN buy online. So, don't ignore the smaller search engines.
