Mike, I have to agree. Most people have absolutely no clue that people can "pay" to be at the top of the search results. Most either didn't notice the grayed out words "sponsored links" or have no idea what that means. However, interesting enough, when the ads are on the side, they didn't take them as search results. I came to this conclusion by doing an informal study of about 40 people I know.

Organic Seo is better than PPC. The reason is everyone knows that sponsored links are paid links so very less visitors click on the PPC ads. More people trust on the organic results than PPC ads. Organic seo takes a lot of time so for quick results PPC may be benificial. Wise decision is to do PPC for 2-3 month and work for the organic seo continiously and when we get ranking with organic seo then we do not need to do PPC continiously.
