There could be different reasons. Did you bid high enough? Are the terms you are trying to bid on very competitive? Click on the "More Sponsored Links" link on the right hand side after the last advertisement and go to all the different pages to see if you find your ad. You may be near the end!

I find it also depends on the time of day. Sometimes as little as 30 seconds for your ad to show, othertimes it might take 24 hours.

You should definately try bid higher and check all the sponsored results.

Also make sure you're not searching from a location that you have disabled.

For example, if you have chosen not to accept clients from the United Kingdom, searching for your keywords on google . co . uk won't bring up your ads!

Are you paying enough for your keywords? If you didn't meet the minimum Cost per Click for your keyword(s), your ad will be active but will never show up on any pages.

Another thing to check is how fast you are running your ads. You can either space them out throughout the day or have them accelerated which means run them all the time until your daily budget runs out.

In general though, if you meet all of the appropriate requirements, your ads should show up on Google in 15 minutes tops. They usually pop up for me within 5, but I think 15 minutes is a safe bet.

Yeah, it could be a few things that could have went wrong. I know one time my ad didn't run because I used a superlative in the title for the ad. I would recommend loging into you account and checking your campaign.

I set up an adwords account last week to increase traffic for the auto dealer websites I do. My ads were shown after a couple of hours but only as high as the 3rd page.. only about 10% of my traffic comes from google.. NOT GOOD! Need to do some keyword modding to change that since I can't compete with the big boys yet on PPC.. I'm getting way more leads on craigslist right now, but I'm gonna have to find a way to be more competitive on google results. I'm probably gonna install a wordpress blog on my site. We'll see how that goes!

    Good luck!

It should be up and running pretty quick...after all, they cant make money if noone can see the ad. Sound like you have some good things to check into above, I would start there
