Hello MarriedToRealEstate,
We use Google Adsense facility to seem our site top on the search result. We can get that position till we pay for this. Once we stop this payment, our site does not seem top on the search result. So, If you want to do business for short term, then it might be achieved by Google Adsense. But, after while, it can't be possible to attain it without having good content to attract visitor.
And, suppose your site having a good content and you do Google Adsense, then some users may be visited your site. Then, internet surfer may be visited your site again and again due to having good content. So, ultimately, your traffic will be increased.
Now, you can understand what I am trying to say.

I find that interesting that you didn't get anything after spending that much on a pay per click campaign. Who did you go to for SEO, or did you do it yourself? Does anyone know of a good deal for getting SEO done on a website?
