Default Is facebook PPC better than Google PPC?

I have used Google PPC for a while, but have a real big interest in facebook ppc. I would like some more input into this before getting started.

    Thanks

    Default Facebook PPC

I have used Facebook PPC and found that it wasn’t as good as Google PPC. I think Facebook PPC would be better than Google when it comes to a small niche in a given city.

I have managed a small Facebook campaign for a brokerage company website. The budget was just over $100. The campaign was a disaster, with bounce rates over 95%. The ad itself was not deceptive in any way so you may think the bounce rate is due to discontent between the ad and the content of the page.

CPC was about $1, way more than in Google

Also be prepared to work a lot on your ads. Click-thought-rates in Facebook are very, very low. You have to do lots of test before you get it right. I think mine was 0.04% which is about average in Facebook.

You can give it a shoot though, as it's very easy and fast to set up. But don't expect any wonders

It depends on which site you are more familiar with and which site you have more followers on. Facebook is becoming more and more active for the real estate industry, so I would say definitely familiarize yourself with it. Especially Facebook's Marketplace.

I have had better ROI with FB than Google. Almost identical ads on both but more clicks with FB.

I think that if you have enough money then you should run both PPC campaigns for a while and see which one does better. I am suggesting this because I think it depends on the industry you are in.
