10-15 but make sure that they are dead on or you will be popping up too much.

no more than 2-3 different keywords per page and it's best if you use a major keyword and 2 or 3 minor keywords on each page.

2-3 primary keywords on the homepage, and different sets of keywords (2-3) for each subpage.

you need to look at how many words as a percentage of the total content on each page. Index should be around 5-7% keywords on the page. Sub pages should be below 5%

For SEO or PPC? For SEO - don't optimize a page for more than 2-3 words. For PPC - you can have as many as you want funneling traffic to a landing page, provided it's still relevant to those pages. If not, then make a new page.

2-5 is about right. I've seen high ranking sites with tens or literally hundreds of keywords, but I tend to attribute their ranking due to the fact that they're all very old sites that have been around a long time.

This is a great question. I have spent a lot of time researching this very information and even I can't give you an exact answer but I would recommend less is more. If you want to go to an seo related forum to read about this you should go to digitalpoint. Very smart SEO's there.

For SEO You only want to have about 3-5 really good and relevant terms per page. But for PPC you can use as many as you want as long as you can effectively turn them into strong leads and sales.
