Google Adsense is great if you are not using it yet. But there is one more competitor for google and it is Adbrite

Adsense has good payout and High click through rate ( i.e. CTR) where as Adbrite is also good but its pay per click is less. So its better to use Adsense rather than Adbrite

As far as advertising on your site with Pay per click ads, Adsense is by far the easiest. There are so many people using Google to advertise that their are always one or two relevant ads to show on your website, thus higher CTR.

Google will never miss a payout either. So, you can rest easy there.

I just wish Google wasn't so greedy. I think they take 60% of the revenue. Maybe more at times depending on how good your CTR is.

Google adwords is the king of PPC.

You can also try yahoo and bing search marketing. If you are promoting real estate you're probably not going to want to use adbrite. There's also chitika which is competitor of google albeit small one.

Then there's all the free sites to advertise like craigslist, kijiji, etc.

Google Adsense works fine. You can enroll in this program to enable text, image, and video advertisements on your website. Plus, Google is paying enough price for each clicks.
