    Red face Need Advice

I live in Southern California and am taking my real estate test on the 5th of September. I need advice on where to start looking for a job. Where should I look? What should I do and not do?

Now MLS Guru, you know that being able to read a clendar has no bearing in being a success in real estate. I mean, its not like there are dates on the contracts!

Poter if you don't mind me asking, what made you choose the Real Estate industry for a job? Unless you've got a very clear business plan, funding for your initial expenses and well defined goal now may not be the best time to jump in. Please elaborate on my questions above.

Congratulations and welcome to the world of real estate! Life as an agent is not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be

First of all, I would find a top real estate company in your area to work with. You are going to want a company that will offer training and really help you learn the business. This is crucial! Don't be so concerned about commission splits etc. Find a mentor to help you learn, and find a top company.

Take this business one day at a time. You will do great.
