    Default New real estat customer

    Just wondering...as a licensed real estate agent, if I make a lead referral to another agent, would I receive 25% of the agents 3% AND 25% of the brokers.

    No, your broker would recieve 25% of the commision the office that you gave the referal to. Then you would recieve what ever your split is of that fee.

    Default Referral Fees

    Hi,

    Referral fees are negotiable. Depending upon how much work you have done or how much needs to be done by the referred agent, you can request different referral amounts. Standard usually seems to be about 25%, but I have asked for as little as 10% and as much as 40% depending upon the situation.

    Of course, the referral goes to your broker first and then you get your agreed upon split.
